Public Outreach for the 72nd St. Subway Station Reconstruction
New York City Transit reconstructed the 72nd Street Subway Station on the 1-2-3 Line to alleviate severe congestion. The work consisted of building a new headhouse north of the existing one, facilitating faster and safer access/egress. In addition, the entire station was upgraded to modern standards. As a subcontractor to the construction management contractor, Interactive Elements was responsible for coordinating public affairs issues in conjunction with NYCT staff. [734]
