Union Township Station Feasibility Study

To determine the feasibility of establishing a new station on NJ Transit's Raritan Valley Line, Interactive Elements assessed the impact of the new station on current and future passenger and freight operations, existing interlockings, signals, and track configuration. A comprehensive evaluation of existing conditions was undertaken, including site visits and discussions with NJ Transit and Conrail. Several alternatives utilizing side platform and island platform configurations were developed and considered for operational feasibility and cost-efficiency.
