Pittsburgh Light Rail Projects (FTA PMO)

As part of a team led by Shaw Engineering, IEI conducted an assessment of the Safety and Security Management Plan (SSMP) prepared for the North Shore Connector Extension of the light rail system operated by Port Authority of Allegany County (PAAC) in Pittsburgh. The $435 million, 1.2 mile extension includes a new underwater tunnel, two stations, and construction of rail infrastructure. IEI's oversight contributed to the larger FTA Project Management Oversight assignment covering the PAAC's capital program.   [1291]
