Denver T-Rex Light Rail (FTA PMO)

As part of a larger team of FTA Project Management Oversight consultants, Interactive Elements participated in monthly safety meetings and managed the safety, security, and fire-life safety portions of the oversight. This work included mediating among the local fire departments, the design consultants, and transit and highway agencies regarding fire-life safety issues in tunnel segments along the alignment. The project was unusual in that it combined highway and light-rail components, and therefore employed engineers and designers with very different safety perspectives.   [1067]
