Queens Boulevard Pedestrian Safety Study
Queens Boulevard is a critical arterial road that serves as the backbone to the New York City Borough of Queens, as well as a key link to Manhattan. To address the increasing issue of pedestrian safety on Queens Boulevard, the NYC DOT assigned URS (now AECOM) the responsibility of identifying possible solutions. IEI, as a subconsultant, developed and administered a public outreach program consisting of identifying all stakeholders, soliciting their concerns, and updating interested parties on project developments.
