Hudson-Bergen Light Rail System Safety Services

As part of its on-going support of NJ Transit's new light rail system, Interactive Elements is providing a variety of safety and safety training services. Before initiation of revenue service, we delivered start-up safety training to system employees. An element of this start-up training was a "train the trainer" program that allowed the system to become self-sufficient in operator safety training. IEI also participated in peer reviews, preparing for safety audits, and reviewing policies and practices for rail safety implications. We have been especially successful in preparing the agency for FTA-mandated State Safety Oversight Audits, by conducting detailed pre-audit safety reviews.   [778]
