Interactive Elements was part of a team that revised the FTA Project and Construction Management Guidelines. This document has been the bible of project managers and FTA PMO consultants for more than 24 years, applied to billions of dollars in public mass transit infrastructure improvements. The new guidelines reflect the latest federal perspectives on project management and include updated emphasis on project risk, risk mitigation, and safety and security. IEI focused on the sections relating to certification of rail system components prior to entering revenue service. This certification is a life-critical component of pre-revenue testing, intended to assure that all systems operate safely and as specified.   [1545]
