Rail Certification Services for North Shore Connector

As a subcontractor to Hatch Mott MacDonald, IEI provided on-site management of rail safety and security certification and rail activation for a $435 million tunnel extension of Pittsburgh's Light Rail System. The rail activation plan was recognized by the Federal Transportation Administration (FTA), who provided the majority of the funding, as a Best Practice.   [1564]
